Arate in her palace chamber - Maidens of fortuna

Due to an unexpected and premature birth, Arate was the only Maiden born without
powers. Because of it, it was argued that she was ‘not a real Maiden’ and should be sent to
live elsewhere. Instead, the Queen chose to raise her personally. Arate, through sheer
willpower, became one of the fiercest hunters and fighters amongst the Maidens, earning
the respect of her sisters and a special place in her mother's heart.
She became the leader of her own unit known as ‘Arete's five.'
